Privacy Policy — VMP Management
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Who this applies to
VMP Management ("the app") is a workplace tool provided by VMP Management to its own hotel staff. It is not available to the general public — accounts are created by an administrator at your workplace, and there is no way to sign up on your own.
What the app collects
Account information. Your name, a username, your role (front desk, maintenance, manager, administrator), and which properties you are assigned to. This is entered by your administrator, not by you.
Work records. The tasks you create, claim, or complete; the notes you write; timestamps for each step; and the room or location each task relates to.
Photos. Pictures you choose to take or attach to a task. These show hotel property — a broken fixture, a completed repair. The app asks for camera and photo-library permission the first time you use those features, and you can refuse; the rest of the app still works.
Device push token. If you allow notifications, a token identifying your device so the app can alert you to new or urgent work.
Language and theme preference.
What the app does not collect
The app does not collect your location, contacts, calendar, browsing history, health data, or advertising identifiers. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
How the information is used
Only to run the maintenance workflow: routing jobs to the right person, showing managers the state of the property, recording that work was done, and sending notifications. Administrators can also see quality statistics derived from these work records — for example whether a repair had to be redone.
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It is not used to train machine-learning models.
Where the information is stored
Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database and file storage operated on behalf of VMP Management. Access is restricted by role: staff see their own work and the tasks for their property; administrators see all of it. Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
Push notifications are delivered through Expo's push service, which relays them to Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM). Only the notification text and your device token pass through it.
How long it is kept
Task records, notes and photos are retained while they are useful to the business and are deleted at VMP Management's discretion. Staff accounts are deactivated when someone leaves and may be deleted by an administrator.
Your choices
- Notifications and camera/photo access can be turned off at any time in
your device settings.
- Your account is managed by your employer's administrator. To correct your
name, change your password, or have your account removed, contact them or write to vpatelai9911@gmail.com.
- Access and deletion requests relating to your personal data can be sent
to vpatelai9911@gmail.com. Note that records of work performed may be retained as ordinary business records even after an account is removed.
Children
The app is a workplace tool and is not directed at children. It is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
